As Director of People I provide strategic people management, HR advice and support to Trust leaders, Headteachers and school staff. We champion better work and working lives by creating roles, opportunities, and working environments that help get the best out of people. We provide a suite of HR policies, processes and systems to support the development and management of staff in the Trust.

Carol Ladley

Payroll and HR Compliance Officer

I lead a small team of HR and Payroll Administrators to implement the trust's payroll service and processes. As part of my role I deliver the pensions administration for both Teachers Pension and Cheshire Pension Fund.

I provide operational support and guidance to school leaders, covering absence management, complex casework, and performance development. I am currently supporting HR colleagues on the CIPD pathway undertaking their Level 5 apprenticeship.

I am the HR contact for a group of trust schools, liaising with school business managers and headteachers offering generalist HR advice and guidance. My work is currently focused on support schools with recruitment. I am working towards my CIPD Level 5 qualification through the apprenticeship route.
