As Deputy CEO I work closely with the CEO and headteachers developing the overall strategy for the trust whilst embedding our values and objectives. I also lead the Central Services team with combined responsibility for finance, people, estates & marketing, school improvement and training & development.

Director Primary Education

My role is to support primary school leaders in a cycle of continuous improvement, with a focus on knowing, supporting and challenging schools. I work with each primary head teacher to ensure pupils are receiving the best possible education. I also work closely with the Director of Secondary and the Director of School Improvement to ensure each school has the capacity to improve the support they need and access to evidence based professional development.

Through a process of knowing, supporting and challenging our schools, I work closely with the secondary headteachers across the trust to improve outcomes for all students. I ensure that school leaders have access to evidence based professional development and support schools to deliver their School Improvement Plans. I also work with external consultants to carry out quality assurance activities within our schools as part of our schools’ self-evaluation processes.

Director of Safeguarding and School Improvement Co-ordinator

As Director of Safeguarding and School Improvement Co-ordinator, my role focusses on ensuring that Safeguarding policy and processes are effective and that Designated Safeguarding Leads feel supported in their school based roles. Additionally, I also lead a central team to deliver improvements in SEND, Behaviour, EYFS and Personal Development. We work closely with the Directors of Secondary and Primary to support schools in meeting their identified school improvement priorities.

Early Years Lead

As Early Years Lead, I support each of the primary schools to provide high quality early years education. Working as part of the School Improvement Team to offer challenge, advice and training to staff who teach our youngest children. I also lead the Early Years Network bringing practitioners together to self-reflect, share best practice and to learn with and from each other.

SEND Lead Primary Schools

As the Primary SEND Lead, I work across the primary schools in The Learning Partnership to review, oversee and support their Senior Leadership and SENCOs to deliver the best quality provision for children with Special Educational Needs. I am part of TLP's School Improvement Service which ensures schools deliver best practice in Special Educational Needs and meet their statutory requirements around SEND. I aim to ensure that all the schools feel confident with the support that they are giving to SEND pupils so that the best outcomes for these pupils can be achieved across the Trust.

School Improvement Advisor

As a School Improvement Adviser I work with the School Improvement Team, Trust Officers, Headteachers and teachers to ensure strong outcomes for all pupils. I specialise in Personal Development to support schools in providing effective programmes which are coherent, well sequenced, organised with connected curricula that demonstrate impact in teaching conduct, building character, fostering cultural capital and supporting wellbeing, creating a lasting legacy into adulthood.

SEND Lead Secondary Schools

As SEND Lead for Secondary, I work across the Trust reviewing, overseeing and supporting SLT and SENCOs within the secondary schools in the Trust. In addition to this supportive role I am also part of the Trust School Improvement Service which ensures school deliver best practices in Special Educational Needs and meets the statutory requirements around SEN. I aim to ensure that all the schools feel confident with the support that they are giving to SEND pupils so that the best outcomes for these pupils can be achieved across the Trust.

As Director of pupils I support schools in fostering positive pupil Mental Health and Well-being and in addressing challenging behaviour. I am also Deputy Safeguarding Lead, and support schools in the implementation of safe working practices across the trust.
