Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

An EYFS network was in place across TLFLP school during 2022 – 2023. The work of Sally Earl (who had previously been focussed on setting up the nursery provision at Wistaston Church Lane Academy) has now been re-focussed to be more strategic across the whole of TLP.

The strategic priorities that have been initially identified are:

To gain an understanding of the early years’ settings within the trust. To be able to identify core improvement priorities across all EYFS settings. 
To refine how assessment data of nursery pupils is collected and ensure that it is used to inform and drive positive impact in children’s learning. To support staff in embedding assessment processes that are ‘fit for purpose’.
