Groups of Year 10 students have visited Chester University and Keele University this month.

The Oaks Academy in Crewe introduces students as young as 14-years-old to what a university is and what university life might be like. This month they have covered two from the region - Keele and Chester. Their trips included exploring different courses, campus life and taking part in some eye-opening critical thinking and problem-solving workshops at Chester. They also took part in an Academic Chemistry Taster Session at Keele and were wowed by their Stardome Planetarium and Observatory experience. The students were fantastic ambassadors for the school.

The Oaks Academy extend a huge thank you to Chester University and Keele University for hosting such enriching days for their students. The future is looking bright!
