On Wednesday 10th November, Year 10 students at Sir William Stanier School were involved in a thought provoking university style seminar that was jointly hosted by Higher Horizons, a collaborative network of universities and colleges offering outreach activities to schools, and the Holocaust Educational Trust who works with schools, colleges and communities across the UK to educate about the Holocaust and its contemporary relevance.
This seminar offered a wonderful opportunity for students to not only discuss and ask many questions with regards to the holocaust but also acted as an introduction into university seminars which are commonly used as means to discuss and educate when at university.
