We are dedicated to transforming communities through education.
Our educational initiatives are designed to support and enhance the learning experience for students of all ages, ensuring they receive the highest quality education.
Comprehensive Support for Schools
Our approach to school improvement is guided by the 'TLP Way,' a principles-based framework that promotes purposeful collaboration and continuous improvement. We work closely with trustees, local governing boards, and headteachers to identify and address common school improvement priorities.
Our School Improvement Networks (comprised of leaders from each of our schools) meet regularly and are used as a vehicle to drive school improvement through collaboration and the sharing of best practice, both from within and outside of our organisation.
We have agreed aligned systems and processes in the areas below, which support leadership teams and individual colleagues in ensuring our students are supported to be able to access all aspects of education.
- Safeguarding: Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students is our top priority. We provide strategic leadership and support to maintain high standards of safeguarding across all our school. We have aligned systems and processes when it comes to policy, the way we record and the way we report. We also agree key projects (each academic year), driven by data, which we work on collaboratively to enhance the support we offer to all. An example of this is our work on Emotional Based School Avoidance.
- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND): We offer tailored support to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND, ensuring they have access to inclusive and equitable education. Our SEND Leads work closely with our SENCOs to ensure we are identifying need at the earliest opportunities, using assessment tools to identify strategies teaching staff can use to adapt their practice according to need and deploying staff to deliver high impact intervention for our most vulnerable.
- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): Our EYFS programs lay a strong foundation for young learners, emphasizing play-based learning and holistic development. Our EYFS Leads meet regularly, supported by our Trust EYFS Lead. This academic year we have seen real impact in terms of our Transition project, focusing on the first eight weeks of provision for our Year 1 students.
As a trust, we are committed to ensuring that we use evidence based approaches to ensure that all of our students are able to access a high quality of education.
