The Learning Partnership’s school improvement framework outlines the support and challenge we offer to our schools to ensure that they are transforming communities through education. We endeavour to operate an efficient and effective Trust school improvement model. One which provides clarity through a framework firmly underpinned by contextual understanding of our schools, high expectations and the principles of improvement. TLP’s school improvement framework ensures our schools maintain their individuality whilst playing a wider role within the community.

Education and School Improvement
Kate Baddeley
Deputy CEO (Education)
I work closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO (Operations) developing the overall strategy for the trust whilst embedding our values and objectives. I am also responsible for the overall provision of the Quality of Education across the trust, leading the Education Team, ensuring we deliver the very best education we can to transform the lives of young people.
Lise Houldsworth
Director of Primary Education
I am responsible for driving primary school improvement. I work strategically with the Deputy CEO (Education), the school improvement team and our primary school leaders to deliver high standards and positively impact on the lives of our students and the communities we serve.
Klare Rufo
Director of Secondary Education
As Director of Secondary, I provide strategic leadership to drive continuous improvement across our secondary schools. I work in close partnership with the Deputy CEO (Education), the education team and our secondary school leaders to enhance performance and improve experience so every student has the opportunity to thrive. I am committed to raising aspirations and securing lasting impact for our students and the communities we serve.

Emma Hooley
School Improvement and Inclusion Coordinator
I work closely with the Deputy CEO (Education) and the Directors of Secondary and Primary to implement our educational initiatives, driving continuous school improvement across the trust. I manage a team of educational specialists, who work directly with our schools, providing advice and guidance on improvement. In addition, I provide capacity to individual schools at senior leadership level.

Sally Earl
EYFS Lead
I support our primary schools to provide high quality education for early years pupils.
The Learning Institute delivers high quality professional development opportunities to educators and leaders at every phase of their professional journey within The Learning Partnership Trust. Our aim is to consistently enhance the quality of education provided to our students at all Key Stages. Additionally, we also provide a range of courses which we make available to external participants.
The aims of The Learning Institute are:
- To support our people across the Trust through designing and delivering ITT and ECT programmes in partnership with accredited providers; providing opportunities for staff to access career development through completion of specialist and leadership NPQs; development of bespoke professional development programmes, matched to the needs of the organisation, such as our ‘Leading People’ course, aimed at those new to management positions.
- To support development of Curriculum and Quality First Teaching with a focus on supporting colleagues with the Curriculum changes, Transition Projects and Teaching Strategies. Also, in the creation of high quality CPD materials that leaders can use in their schools, to support existing professional development programmes.
- To facilitate collaboration across The Learning Partnership to better support colleagues through providing regular networking opportunities; facilitate collaboration to help reduce workload; to ensure the best practice, in our schools, is shared.
